Description
Oral history with political columnist and publisher Sam Hanna. Conducted on January 10, 1994. In this interview, Hanna discusses his career in newspaper, his early life and education, and some important events in Louisiana politics that he covered. He also shares his thoughts on certain legislators and governors he reported on and his philosophy on journalism. Hanna owned and published for "The Franklin Sun" in Winnsboro and "The Ouachita Citizen" in West Monroe and also served as the president of the Louisiana Press Association.
