Description

Host, Angela Hill continues a conversation between her guest and a live studio audience about the book "Mafia Kingfish" by John H. Davis. Her panelist is author John H. Davis. Topics discussed include supposed evidence that links Louisiana mobster Carlos Marcello to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, which opposes the Warren Commission's official report, and Lee Harvey Oswald's ties to the Marcello criminal organization. In his book, Davis alleges Dallas club owner Jack Ruby killed Lee Harvey Oswald at the covert behest of Carlos Marcello. He theorizes the motive for eliminating John F. Kennedy would disrupt Robert F. Kennedy's investigations and ultimately neutralize his political power. Davis eludes to possible CIA conspiracies, and corruption at multiple levels in law enforcement and local government, and blames bureaucratic ineptitude for the fabricated conclusion of the assassination investigation. Air date: November 15, 1989.
