Oral history with Tribal Chairman of Louisiana Band of Choctaw, Turtle Clan Roy Burst. In this interview, Burst discusses the history and longstanding traditions of the Louisiana Band of Choctaw. Burst also talks about one of the most famous Choctaws, Pushmataha. He also discusses the struggles that his and other clans of Choctaw face when trying to achieve federal recognition and Choctaw law.
