Description
Oral history with Secretary of the Senate Mike Baer. In this conclusion, Baer discusses integration of the Louisiana House and Senate, the issue of racism in the Louisiana legislation, and the Civil Rights Movement in Louisiana. He also reflects on the Louisiana House and Senate from throughout his career and how not much as changed since his retirement. Baer served as the Secretary of the Louisiana Senate from 1979 to 2004.
