Oral history with District 47 State Representative Mickey Frith. Conducted on June 21, 2007. In this interview, Frith discusses his heritage as a Cajun, the history of the area of Louisiana where he grew up, his family history, his early life, and his career in the education system. He also talks about working for the Rock-a-bye or "Bucket of Blood" dance hall in Lake Charles and how he got started in Louisiana politics. This interview is part of a series of interviews conducted with numerous Louisiana legislators being term limited following the 2007 legislative session. Part 1 of 4.
