Oral history with CEO of Bollinger Shipyards and former State Chairman of the Louisiana Republican Party Donald G. Bollinger. Conducted May 13, 1993. In this portion of the interview, Bollinger shares stories from his time as Chairman of the Louisiana Republican Party. He discusses how he was elected to the position, some major accomplishments from his time as Chairman, some of the problems he faced while in office, and his relationship with the Governor David Treen.
