Description

Oral history with Victor V. Bussie (27 January 1919- 4 September 2011) conducted on 18 January 1994. Bussie served in the U.S. Naval Air Corps during WWII tasked with aerial photography. His crew aided in surveying Normandy before the D-Day invasion in June 1944. After the war, he served as a firefighter and president of the Louisiana American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO). Part 1 of 2.
