This segment from the 2015 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Paul Beaman, a junior at Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge. Beaman was born with numerous birth defects and an inability to grow at a normal rate. He has undergone daily growth hormone injections and at least twenty-five surgeries.
