Description
This segment from the 2010 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Trevor Vampran, a junior at St. Amant High School. In 2008, Vampran was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. He spent a total of eighteen months receiving treatments at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. While at the hospital, Vampran befriended many of the younger patients and helped them through their treatments. He is a tireless fundraiser for both the hospital and Dreams Come True.
