This segment from the 2009 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Craig Young, a senior at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge. At age eleven, Young lost his mother after a long battle with brain cancer. He is now a part of the Boys Hope program, which provides him with a safe home environment and a school scholarship. Young is an excellent student, a football player, and a member of the student ministry. He also volunteers his time as a soccer and basketball coach for special needs children and serves as a mentor to the other residents at Boys Hope.
