Description
This segment from the 2009 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Emily Seba, a sophomore at Parkview Baptist High School in Baton Rouge. Seba suffers from severe allergic reactions, or anaphylaxis, and has also survived a stroke due to the arteriovenous malformation (AVM) on her brain. Despite these health issues, Seba is a talented artist whose work is displayed at Baton Rouge restaurants and has won awards at state, national, and international festivals. She also works on art projects with children with disabilities.
