This segment from the 2007 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Jonathan Dunlap of Pineville, a junior at Grace Christian School in Alexandria. Dunlap was born fifteen weeks premature and was considered a “miracle baby” by the staff at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. Despite suffering from a learning disability, he serves as a YWCA counselor and lifeguard, won a state championship with his school’s cross country team, and volunteers with the Children’s Miracle Network and Salvation Army.
