This segment from the 2001 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Euphoria Warren, a senior at Joseph S. Clark High School in New Orleans. Warren lives in an inner city housing project in a dangerous section of New Orleans. She maintains a 4.0 grade point average and tutors students in her neighborhood. She also prepares presentations for the Peers Educating Peers program about stopping violence, preventing teen pregnancy and conflict resolution.
