This segment from the 1998 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Malinda DeBusk, a freshman at Benton High School. Despite battling a genetic disorder called Turner Syndrome, DeBusk maintains a 5.0 grade point average, is an active member of the band and ROTC, and serves as a candy striper at a local hospital.
