This episode of the series “La Veillee” from April 4, 2024, features Drake LeBlanc, Will McGrew, and Caitlin Orgeron of Tele-Louisiane reporting on Lâche Pas, an after-school elective for middle school students in Vermilion Parish that teaches students about Louisiana’s Francophone culture. They interview: Earlene Broussard, language consultant; Reed Such Stewart, student; and Geno Delafose, musician and program volunteer. McGrew then interviews Jane Vidrine, lead consultant on the project, who discusses the development of the program and their hopes to expand the program statewide.
