This segment from the June 1, 2012, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Sue Lincoln’s report on the passage of the Tesa Middlebrook Anti-Bullying Act at the 2012 Legislative Session, which prohibits school bullying. Lincoln reports that the law was inspired by the suicides of three Louisiana teenagers, Hannah Pauley, Danielle Cox, and Tesa Middlebrook, who were allegedly bullied at school. Lincoln interviews Len Pauley, the father of Hannah Pauley, who discusses the bullying she experienced at school. She also interviews State Senator Rick Ward, the sponsor of the bill.
