Alford interviews: Lieutenant Governor Jay Dardenne on the impact to the tourism industry; Secretary Stephen Moret of the Department of Economic Development on the impact of both the oil spill and the Obama Administration’s six-month moratorium on deep water drilling on the oil and gas industry; and economist Loren Scott on it being too early to determine the overall economic impact of the spill.
