She interviews: Scott Norton, the Assistant State Superintendent for Student Performance, on the recent LEAP test results; School Superintendent Joseph Beachchamp, Jr. of East Feliciana Parish on the “Grand Ideas from Within” program helping students with their stress levels; co-founder Joan Stewart on her inspiration for the program; Cindy Perret, the Assistant Principal at East Feliciana Ninth Grade Academy, on the effectiveness of the program in the areas of student performance and student behavior; and students Robert Guerrero, Trinity George, Jamarcus Byrd, and Jasmine Beecham on their positive experience with the program.
