This segment from the August 6, 2010, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Shauna Sanford’s report on where the oil from the BP Oil spill has gone. She visits Dr. Gregory Stone, the director of the LSU Coastal Studies Institute, at his lab in Baton Rouge to discuss the tools he is using to gather information on the location of the oil, including satellite imagery, acoustic Doppler current profilers, and a wave simulator.
