This segment from the January 22, 2010, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features producer Dorothy Kendrick’s report on the 100 Day Challenge, a competition between the youth of Iowa and Louisiana to improve their health through exercise and a better diet. Kendrick attends a pep rally at Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge, where she talks to Rudy Macklin of the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and David Holmes of the Legislative Youth Advisory Council, about the competition. She also interviews three seniors from Woodlawn High School, Jordan Devore, Daniel Stewart, and Andreon St. Cyr, about participating in the challenge. Hosts: Charlie Whinham and Shauna Sanford
