She interviews: Stephen Ambrose, historian; Jerry Strahan, the author of a book about Andrew Jackson Higgins; Graham Haddock, a designer for Higgins Industries; Richard McDerby, the instructor for the Higgins Boat School; and Jimmy Duckworth, a reservist with the United States Coast Guard and the leader of the effort to build the boat replica.
