This segment from the March 1, 1996, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Robert Collins’ report on the March on the Mansion, a group of several thousand people marching from Memorial Stadium to the Governor’s Mansion in Baton Rouge to protest Governor Mike Foster’s executive order repealing minority and women’s affirmative action programs.
