Description
This episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” from November 24, 1989, features Robert Collins leading a panel discussion on the higher education desegregation plan approved by the federal court. The panelists are: John Kennedy, the special counsel to Governor Buddy Roemer; Jesse Stone, a law professor at Southern University and the former president of the Southern University System; and Mary Hamilton, the student government association president at Southeastern Louisiana University and the student member on the State Board of Trustees.
