This segment from the October 26, 1984, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Ken Johnson’s report on the importance of the timber industry to the state’s economy. He visits the Crown Zellerbach mill in Bogalusa and reports on their decision to spend $120 million from 1978-1980 to modernize the mill. His report also touches on their reforestation efforts.
