He discusses: the 100th anniversary of the Baton Rouge campus of Southern University; the history of the Baton Rouge campus, including J.S. Clark, the school’s first president, the Civil Rights era, and the death of two students during the 1972 campus protests; the increase in student enrollment following several years of declining enrollment; the increase in international students; the Centennial celebration; fundraising opportunities; and the Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund.
