Jim Engster moderates a debate at the Baton Rouge Press Club on October 22, 2012, between two of the candidates for Louisiana’s 3rd Congressional District: Bryan Barrilleaux (R) and Jim Stark (L). Congressman Charles Boustany, Jr., the incumbent (R), Jeff Landry (R), and Ron Richard (D) were invited, but did not attend. The debate begins with each candidate’s opening statement. The candidates then answer questions on the war on drugs and the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. The debate ends with each candidate’s closing statement.
