Description
This segment from the 2016 Louisiana Legends Gala features a profile and a speech by Hollis Conway accepting his recognition as a Louisiana Legend. Conway, who grew up in Shreveport and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, won a silver medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics and a bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in the high jump. He was inducted into the National Track and Field Hall of Fame in 2015. Conway is now a motivational speaker and author.
