This segment from the April 19, 2019, episode of the series “Art Rocks!” features producer Dorothy Kendrick’s visit to the "Per(Sister): Incarcerated Women of Louisiana" exhibit at the Newcomb Art Museum on the campus of Tulane University in New Orleans. The exhibit features art inspired by the experiences of incarcerated women and explores the root causes of female incarceration. She interviews Monica Ramirez-Montagut, museum director, and Syrita Steib-Martin, a formerly incarcerated woman.
