Description

Jeff Duhe hosts live coverage of Governor Edwin Edwards’ opening address to a 1994 Special Session of the Louisiana Legislature on June 6, 1994. During his speech, Governor Edwards discusses the issues included in the call for the special session, including crime, teacher evaluations, voter registration, unemployment compensation, boll weevil eradication, Medicaid funding for abortions for victims of incest or rape, video poker, motor vehicle inspections, and the prevailing wage law.
