This episode of the series “En Francais” from May 5, 1985, features James Fontenot’s interview with Roy Robin of Breaux Bridge. He discusses the crawfish industry in Louisiana. Fontenot then interviews Joseph Jones, a Creole businessman and former educator from Breaux Bridge. He discusses his life and career, being Creole, and the efforts to preserve the Creole language in Louisiana. This episode was preserved through a 2018 CLIR Recordings at Risk Grant.
