Lastly, Masingale conducts an in-studio interview with Dr. Gregory Harrison, a breast cancer specialist, and Redean Parsons, a volunteer with Reach to Recovery. They discuss: breast self-examinations; surgery and treatment options; the difference between radiation therapy and chemotherapy; the psychological impact of losing a breast; and the support offered by Reach to Recovery for women recovering from breast cancer surgery.
