Hosts Rob Hinton and Genevieve Stewart first interview two successful minority business owners, Ava Boute of Odyssey Travels in Lafayette and Mohammad Baaheth of the Baaheth Corporation in Baton Rouge. Hinton and Stewart then conduct an in-studio interview with Warren Birkett of Wybirk and Associates in Baton Rouge and Nathaniel Davis of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Office in New Orleans. They discuss: the work of Wybirk and Associates’ minority business development center; SBA services, including loans; what people should consider before starting a business; and why businesses fail.
