Description
In this episode from the “Hooks, Lies, and Alibis” series of “A Taste of Louisiana” from May 4, 2015, Chef John Folse goes fishing for catfish with hoop nets on Lake Des Allemands, which is located twenty-five miles southwest of New Orleans. He also prepares Fried Collarbone Catfish with his nephew, Jay Folse, and great-niece, Allie Folse. Chef Folse then returns home to White Oak Plantation and cooks Black Pot Courtbouillon and Catfish & Shrimp Grits with Don Dubuc, the host of “Paradise Louisiana” and “Outdoors with Don Dubuc.” Lastly, Chef Folse mixes a drink called the Barracuda.
