Description
In this episode from the “Louisiana Cooking with a Change of Heart” series of “A Taste of Louisiana” from January 25, 2003, Chef John Folse visits the Academy of the Sacred Heart, an all-girls Catholic school in Grand Coteau, Louisiana, that dates back to 1821. He meets with Marie Orgeron, an alumna and the former development director, who shares a special school recipe for Pecan Pie. In his kitchen, Chef Folse prepares a healthier version of the Pecan Pie, as well as Corn & Shrimp Soup.
