In this episode from the “Louisiana Cooking with a Change of Heart” series of “A Taste of Louisiana” from November 9, 2002, Chef John Folse visits Marjorie Domangue at her home in Gibson, Louisiana, on Bayou Black. She shares her family recipe for Vegetable Beef Soup. In his kitchen, Black Guidry performs his original song, “Cajun Man.” Chef Folse then prepares a healthier version of the Vegetable Beef Soup. He also makes healthy versions of Chicken & Artichoke Stew and Peach Cobbler.
